Just noticed my Avant sits a little lower on the drivers side than it does on the passenger side. Any ideas what could be causing this? Worn bushes? Arms?

Worn dampers or broken spring........more likely worn dampers

Thanks. Its going in on mid week for gearbox oil, Ill get them to inspect. Looks like an expensive bill!

Best place for OEM Sport shocks? TPS, ECP, Audi? ££?

I ordered Sachs Sport Shocks from wanapart.com for just shy of £200 for all 4. Spent days searching online and they were £40 cheaper than anywhere else for me. Plus they were delivered within 24hours!

They have recently changed name, I'll find out to what :)

Thanks mate!

If its going to cost me £200 plus debating on whether to buy a set of cheap coilovers (FKs) or an aftermarket suspension kit like the AP 40/30mm kit (http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/car...cks-suspension-kit-a4-b6-avant-19tdi-fwd-1001) ?

Any views on each?

I also considered the AP 40/30mm kit but I got the Sachs shocks and fitted b5 perches, with the option of fitted the Eibach Pro kit at a later date :) !

I like the idea of the AP kit where once all fitted its done lol. And I'm guessing will be better quality than the FK coilovers?

Yeah I'd imagine so mate. A good shock / spring set is usually alot more comfortable than coilovers haha.

The reason ill go for the eibach pro kit as I've heard the spring compression rate is very similar to standard sport springs so paired up with standard shocks it should be a pretty good setup!

I fitted the same AP kit bought from DPM last year and for the money can't fault it although the ride is quite firm. If I do it again on my next Audi I'd go for the bilstein / eibach combination again from DPM. I think it was double the price though. It's the case Imo, spend as much as you can afford!

Thanks mate. Think I'll get that kit when funds allow.
