Possible Causes
Any ideas ?
where to look next ?
Also in vcds 01 engine I can not access measuring blocks and 04 basic settings has changed and I cant enter a value to access say the intake manifold runner etc its just got a drop down list of a few things.

18711/P2279/008825 - Leak in Air Intake System
Possible Symptoms
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active
- Vacuum Leak
- Intake Manifold Runner Position out of Specification
- Faulty Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) System or Heating Element (N79)
- Check Intake System for Leaks
- Check Intake Manifold Runner
- Check (PCV) System and / or Heating Element if applicable
- When found in the NAR 2.0T (BPY) check RVUTB: 01-09-03 or 2018919 for updated Crankcase Breather Valve
- If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle.
- I cant not find any leaks at all
- the PCV was changed 6 ish month ago
- removing the oil cap doesn't alter how it runs ?
01314 - Engine Control Module
01314 - Engine Control Module: No Communications
Possible Causes
- CAN-Databus Wiring/Connectors from/to Engine Control Module faulty
- Fault(s) stored in Engine Control Module
- Engine Control Module recently flashed or re-mapped
- Check CAN-Databus Wiring/Connectors from/to Engine Control Module
- Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
- Usually Measuring Value Blocks (MVB) 125+ show the current Communication Status
Possible Causes
- Fault(s) stored in Engine Control Module
- Check Engine Control Module for Fault Codes
- Engine Control Module stored a Code which influences other Control Modules Functionality.
- To clear this Fault Code you will need to correct the Problem in the Engine Control Module first.
