Plastic Sills removal

has anyone removed there sills on there S3 I need to take them off to sort the lip on the under side. Need to get it under sealed and painted.
 
Do you mean the door blades that run along the bottom edge of the doors?

Door blades there are 4 screws holding it on then side it backwards, smaller door blade has no screws and slides forwards
 
No the sills/skirt with the S3 logo I want to underseal and get the little lip.
 
from what i remember, on the outside of the car, the black plastic part of the sill clips onto the side skirt, you can pop them off and then remove the side skirt. removing the sills from the car is a pain because they are stuck down. heat gun may help remove them without breaking them but it is tricky
