My s3 has been shot by air rifle!

I thought .22 but I'm doubting it now, don't know a lot about them.

Where the car parks but it was one car back when it happend

So an estimate of the red dot in the dent is around 3mm? If so too small for a pellet, and the scuff looks to be around 12mm so too large for even a .22 to expand.
If it was shot I would guess the shooter was at the bottom of the slide.

It could of been another S3 mapped by Bill giving it's beans and blew up throwing out debris :p
 
Doesn't matter what it was the damage is terrible, I would of reported it just incase it happened to someone else in the area
 
From the size of it and the height and its location I would suggest that it's a brake lever on a bike that has done that, they have come up the side of the car from behind and collided with the car. As suggested earlier on.
I would say it's too big for a pellet hit.
