If you've seen my posts in the ongoing TFSI oil thread, you'll know i've been doing up to 580miles so far w/out the MMI indicator dropping a pixel. aside from that, i'm due a service, last week i was getting the "service due in 2300miles/20 days" kinda thing.
i've been off this week, just jumped into the car for the first time this morning, and the when i put the key in the message "service due!" came straight up ~ what happened to my days/miles countdown?
secondly, i checked the oil level when i came back, and this time it's suddenly showing a drop, i'm a tad over halfway down.
the more i live w/ that car, the less i understand how the clever electronic bits work. i've already posted about the windscreen wash message popping up about 15mins after i used it. very strange.
