I purchased a 56 plate a3 2.0 tdi s line 170 DSG sportback last year and it's been parked in my Garage for 7-8 months ever since I bought it because I've had other projects on. Some of you may have already seen that I have now converted it into an RS3 replica.

Now, my question is a genuine question, because I just keep finding optional extras on it.

I will list all of the optional extras I can see the car has from factory. If anybody else can name a few others, I shall check for them. Thanks

Here's the list:

  1. BBS Speedline 18's
  2. Bi-Xenon with DRL function. headlights
  3. 'See me home' function (That button you press so headlights and tailights come on when you unlock the car)
  4. Parking sensors
  5. Panoramic Sunroof
  6. Roof rails
  7. Electric folding mirrors (Of which I just found out it had yesterday)
  8. 170 engine (not sure if this is an optional extra, someone mentioned it was)
  9. Sat Nav/tv with memory card slots
  10. Heated leather seats
  11. Cruise control
  12. 6stack CD changer in glovebox
  13. M/F steering wheel
  14. Aux
  15. Arm-rest (Although I took this out because it was broken and replaced the centre plastic console with a standard non armrest one)
  16. Lighting pack (As suggested by Lee69 to check)
  17. Storage pack (As suggested by Lee69 to check)
  18. Trip Computer (As suggested by Lee69 to check)
  19. Auto lights, wipers, and auto dimming mirrors (As suggested by DomH to check)
  20. Brake pad monitoring

I'm pretty sure the person that bought this car from new has just closed their eyes and went tick crazy on the options list. But is there anything else I need to check for?

Thanks dude!!!! I didn't know about the lighting pack, just checked on another thread what it was, I'VE GOT IT... lol

Also, i've got the storage box under the seat, and the Trip computer which shows a digital form of mph as well as average mpg etc!!! (i thought that was standard though)

I'll update the list

Maybe the gap in the rear seats for putting your skis through?
Tyre pressure monitoring?

If you're referring to the centre of the rear seat folding down, then no, it doesn't have that...
And tyre pressure monitoring, I don't know about that one, will have to wait and see if I ever have a flat tyre (hopefully I don't lol)

It does have Brake pad monitoring (Again, I don't know if that's an optional extra or standard?)

Thanks for the suggestion

Auto wipers, auto lights, auto dim rear view mirror and possibly wing mirrors?

Crap... forgot to mention them, yes It has them, again I thought they were standard with the Bi-xenon DRL headlights.

Will update the list

Under front passenger seat storage....
LED tail lights......

It's actually a pre-facelift model. The Bi-Xenon Headlights with the DRL function came on the car standard in 2006. The other facelift DRL Bi-xenon Headlights are one the car now because I've facelifted it to an RS3 replica. So it has the rear LED tail lights now, but the LED rear tail lights come standard 58 plate onwards (occasionally on some 08 plates), not before that, so there wasn't an option to have them in 2006.

As for the Passenger storage box, I don't think they come with these, just the drivers side, although, I'll check

You have a very well spec'd car there buddy.

Thanks bro. I know, I can't believe it to be honest. I got lucky, because I wasn't even looking for it. Popped up online as Stolen recovered with NO DAMAGE :) with 52K Mileage. I just saw the Pan-roof, and that it was Auto and I started drooling like a baby. They never had pictures up of the inside of the car, nor the front of the car lol, so I took a risk, travelled 130 miles to pick it up on the recovery truck as it had no keys, just logbook and history. Booked it into Audi, got a couple keys made. And have loved the car ever since. Mileage on the car is now 53k, fully legit and all proven/backed up. Will be a mistake selling this, but it will be happening soon:drag:

Oh! It's just that my 2005 140 SE had it in when I bought it.

Just get the book which you got with the car and input the letters/numbers from the sticker on the 1st page here: http://igorweb.org/equidec/

That will list you all the optional equipment which previous owner has chosen. :)
