Thank you kind Sir.

Yeah was cool. Actuality spent the day porting two TTE780SL turbos for a good friends very special s4 project (Free of charge). So was nice to just focus on and relax loosing myself focused on the task.

My pleasure.

The 700bhp TFSi project looks very interesting.

Right well... WMI take 2. Managed to get everything wired upand working finally.

Extended the signal led wire to the cabin, still need to drill a hole to mount it properly although I'm not too happy about hacking my dash up so its sat here for the meantime: Anyone spot it?

Also relocated the controller and extended the wires for that too:

Front all plumbed in minus the actual nozzle and seems to working:

And another miscellaneous snow photo:

Will put the car back together tomorrow and see if everything works. I'll let you know how she drives with the wmi.:p

Looks good in the snow ! Nice pic

Looking great in the snow. My next step (after this new house goes through) is that TTE420 turbo.

*YAWN* this thread has absolutely bored me to tears :lazy: Haha...

Only kidding dude... Obviously experiencing the car 1st hand means theres absolutely no superlatives required from me, the smile did the talking!

Send me in the direction of that bodyshop to I have words! Badge placement, did the guy have a few beers? :keule:

As for your earlier question bout the wheels, as you know, come Thursday you'll know either way and see wee Bluey Mk2 sitting sweet as a nut! :o.k:

Car is mental, amazing power and torque. Being able to say your S3 is running over 400bhp is quite the achievement :)

You still running the sach clutch at 427 BHP 445 FT.LBS? Is it dual mass or single flywheel?

very good read! Could you tell me what parts where used for the rs3 grill, very interested in doing that to mine?

Thanks, Its a hybrid of an S3 grill surround and an RS6 honeycomb centre. Not easy to do tbh. I bought it off a friend who done the job himself so can't really comment on how it was done in specifics. It involves a lot of time patience and adhesives.

Single mass. The set-up has done around 2500 miles since the turbo was fitted and neverhad a problem with slipping clutches etc. runs perfect and holds the power well.

Sounds good, have you tried any launches with the car or quick starts in 1st shall we say?

A couple of easy ish starts although I will admit, its not had any full on racing starts. A bit of a grey area tbh as this is where problems with the clutch could come from.

Ill get it on the drag strip soon and let you know.

Awesome, yea that's where the humming and haying comes in. Most of the problems have been from people drag starting the dual mass flywheel one's so unsure if single mass is the same.

Thinking of taking a similar route to yourself with the modifications once I get my S3, which with any luck will be this weekend. So been trying to decide between the Sach's or SPEC clutch similar to the one S3Alex run's but the stage2+ version which is a little cheaper but max rated to 456ft-lb's which I wouldn't plan on going over

Awesome, sure it will get a pretty decent time :)

Doogie do you feel/notice any grunt loss on high rpms like when running the stock K04 turbo?

Thanks. Yeah hopefully it will do a decent time. Yeah manual for me, so bit of a handicap time wise.

With the TTE-420??

Not at all. Even stock k04, mine pulled like a train to the redline. More so now with the new turbo.

Great project! Are you running LPFP upgrade on your TTE420 and APR map setup?

nice work with wmi install mate, very neat...

do you have any close up photos of how you mount the pump please or any info on it?

^ kind of ignore that question mate as i just re-read your thread and noticed the close up photos on page 3. any specific detail would be appreciated if you have time to pm please. otherwise i can probably work it out from the photo...

Hi guys, been a while since I updated this so thought it was about time..

Few changes since last post...

The Snow performance system has been traded out for a Devilsown boost referenced system as I had too many failures with the SP one and a lack of customer sympathy too.

The Yellowspeed BBK is on!! .... and pops eyes out their sockets..

Also installed the Dual nozzle set-up for octane boost... Have to say, It did improve mid-range torque noticeably.

And aside from this, there hasn't been a lot of anything else going on other than enjoying the car and keeping it maintained.

Pics of the new system and BBK kit.

Plumbing and wiring the new system

Dual nozzle and new air filter

And a few of the car from SCS with the ASN team.

A few of her tucked up in bed,

Wow Doogie! That looks stunning mate!
Seriously, that is one sweet looking S3.
What suspension set up are you running? Do you get any rubbing or knocking from underneath?
