I think your still missing my point with the engine. If you blow up a forged engine, your throwing thousands of pounds down the drain. If you blow up a stock motor, your out 200quid and a weekend to change it. Hence my point is simple, leave the engine well alone. If you want to bolt on a bigger turbo, then sure, do so, but select wisely and map it such that your not going to be snapping rods for fun. The absolute most i would be doing, is fitting some rods.
My track car is an S4 shell with a 1.8T in it. Theres no way i'd be refitting a 2.7T even if i was given one for free. Its far too heavy, far too complicated and expensive to maintain, and ofcourse theres more of everything to go wrong as well!
