Hi guys I was looking for a decent boost gauge location/pod to mount for my A3 TDI, some pics and links would be great.

Thanks

Demi

I've recently installed a boost gauge in to one of the middle dash air vents using the Osir adapter, thought id share a couple of pics of it with you, sorry for the quality of them.

Hope this helps

Google "new south pod" and check out the images! :icon thumright:

Newsouth here as well as it was the only way I could get a 2.5-3bar gauge but there's no doubt the Podi gauges are neater.

I have to admit, I do like the way that the Podi gauge pod sits below the climate control unit. I just don't think I could safely keep an eye on the road if I had to stare down there to check my boost gauge though. :)

I'm also looking where to place boost gauge. Firstly thought about vent, but now my idea is to place it in front of cluster, like on the photo (photoshopped to make it easier to realise):

It's hard to find 60mm with no vacuum side of gauge, also it could be hard to live without one vent in winter times :|

Hey crazy, is that your car with these vents? If so I'll pm ya a few questions mate.
