Panel in boot keeps popping open

Is it just me? This thing will not stay shut! The clips don't seem to be broken yet push it into place and 20 seconds later it has popped out again!

Yeh noticed this too...some Lil imp is in there pushing it back out just when I've done it shut...

Noticed one in the showroom the same. Must be a feature of the B8.5. :-(

It's the body flexing where they did the cut & shut job ;)

I think i know what the problem is....you need to spend more time behind the wheel and less in the boot! :racer:
My Avant seems find - maybe it’s a saloon thing
 
Mine is solid shut and you have to give a fair tug to get it off although mines an Avant and looks slightly different to yours

Maybe a saloon thing. I opened and very carefully closed the panel. And it popped open again 10 seconds later. Grr.

The clips seem to have no latch on the end so I'm amazed it stays put at all.
 
No probs here either on an avant Scotty - hope you get it sorted.

Mine stays shut but that maybe due to the fact that my Labrador is always resting against it when she's in the boot!
 
Yay fixed! Got a whole new side panel.

Replaced side trim due to bracket has come away.
