2010 in Sepang blue

Thanks Sandra coming off the back of a Candy White 3 dr Golf R, I was a little unsure whether this was a backward step, but having sold my Qs it seemed the logical move.
What can I say - what a fantastic car.... 340bhp out of the box - but the torque from this 5 bagger is monumental. From 40 in 6th it just pulls and pulls and then pulls some more until you back off feeling totally lacking in the talent necessary to do justice to it. Handling from the 4wd chassis is sublime Cabin feels very exclusive - totally impressed - all thats missing is the right sound... but more of that later.
Gave my petrolhead son a run out in it the other day and he fell instantly in love with it...
The worrying thing was his final remark - " so when are you getting the R8?"
I told him with this you don't need one lol

I saw the TT at your garage the other week, very nice car.
 
Awsome colour , looks stunning. I've had my TT for about 6 weeks now and just love it . I walk out the house of a morning , get in the car and grin all the way to the office. My 16 year old son was impressed too but apparently I should have gone for the Boxter. !
 
My lads 13 - the RS is his bench mark, all the time the question is... "is that as quick as or quicker than the RS"
