Hi Guys,
Another problem with my A3. Brake pedal travel feels very gritty and squeaky. Only occurs when car is warm and during the initial 5% or top part of the pedal travel. Brake operation doesn't feel smooth at all.
Showed the Service Manager/Foreman, he felt the same thing, so they lubricated it. Felt ok for about a week, then it came back.
Went back to Audi Service, they said, they have another A3 with the same issue, but Audi doesn't have a fix for it. So basically, go away.
I'm very disappointed with Audi so far:
1. Turbo Charger noise/clip issue from the day I got car (Finally Fixed)
2. Gritty/Noisy Brake Pedal
3. Adaptive Cruise Trying to kill me!
4. Lane Assist sometimes trying to swerve OUT of the lane. (Happened 2 times on the same road)
After having many issues with 3 VWs and switching to Audi for a better experience, I've lost faith with both.
Does anyone have a trouble-free car these days??? IMO Audi and VW really need to focus on Quality Control and AfterSales Service.
