RNSE fitment into newer Audi

Hi all

wondering if someone could help me, i currently own a 2006 A3, i purchased a second hand RNSE and fitted myself, been working fine.

I am in the process of purchasing a 2010 S3 and it doesn't have the RNSE unit in, am i right in thinking it should be a straight swap over, other than it will need coding with VAGcom?

I have struck a deal with the Audi dealer to say ill fit it and they will code it, but they have concerns it might not work with it being a older RNSE and a newer Audi

Can anyone give me a definitive answer please?
