Cargo net fitting

Just replaced the missing cargo net that my S-Line should have had. I have fitted it on the boor floor using the 4 hooks on each corner. But what are the 2 rings in the middle for?

Anyone got a photo showing the different fitting positions?

At a guess without seeing them I'd say they were just there to tie things down!

I thought so but it has 2 spare hooks/rings in the middle and a pocket in the middle

From memory, you can attach two of the anchors to the floor points and then the hoops go over a pair of hooks high up, which forms a pocket into which you can drop things rather than a flat net across the boot floor.

Thanks what I thought but I can't find the hooks at the top. It's dark now so will have another look tomorrow

The hooks are built into the side of the boot.

I did this but they can ping off and in my experience the content of the net can move around a lot. Making a few changes to mine so it holds stuff better.

I get it to lay flat on the boot floor, using the 4 plastic hooks clipped into the point on the car, but have 2 loops/rings in the middle. I thought you could fold the net in half and hag it on the back of the rear seats but I can't find and mounting point high up.

Finally got round to posting this pic. Normally, as Phil-1 states, I only use bottom four hooks and get it to lay flat, but occasionally use the "plastic bag holders" for the two rings...hope this helps!!!!!

The net i got in the A3 had the pocket but my new one doesn't. ****** cheapskates.
