Hi,
I've started to notice when I compress my clutch it's quiet, when I release it (stationary and neutral ) I get a chatting noise which is hard to explain..
Anyone had any experience with this issue or is it completely normal?
Thanks

Sounds like the clutch release bearing m8

How much is that going to cost? :( it's quite quiet at the moment, does this mean I have little while yet before I should change it?

It really depends what it is m8, I mean it might not be the bearing. We had a van at work and it's bearing made a hell of a noise and it lasted over 6 months before it was replaced! When you do fix it though u obviously want to change the clutch and plate as well, and check the dmf for play as it may even be that making the noise. Your looking at least £650 in parts alone including dmf (eurocarparts), then your labour on top which could be anything from £250 up to £500 at a local garage, unless your competent to do it yourself m8. First thing though take it to a garage you trust and let them hear it and take it from there.

Thank you for your help buddy, appreciate it! :)
