Yea as Gaz said Aaron it might have been damaged or not put back on correctly causing the light to come on!

@Andy76 I got my VCDS off ilexia as needed a vat invoice and NHM couldt supply one. Think it was £259.
If your not bothered about VAT invoice. NHM is handy on here and you always have point of contact for help.

Had the same on old b7, turned out the pad wear wire nipped from pad. i just joined it with other pad wire and used electrical tape. All good after that.
Hi hoping someone can advise me. Just bought a 2008 A6 saloon and am trying to get use of the phone button. Am I correct in saying that Vcds can allow me access to Mmi secret menu to activate bluetooth and phone function?

Hey Phil. I have an A6 2008 with a mmi 2 (red display) basic sat nav. I'm looking to get Bluetooth working for phone. Any ideas ?

I have sourced a genuine VCDS cable. I'll be practicing with it this weekend when I pick up my A5 but after that I'm happy to help where I can. Am based in Belfast through the week and Donegal at the weekends (long story)
