Also if you have or haven't, I'm curios to know how much you either love or don't love these turn signals and do you wish they kept the idea for the A3 saloon.. I personally wish they were with the LED lights, they would sell it for most people id think!

Saw them on an R8. Think it's the matrix lights. Pretty cool like

Yeh the R8 has those on the rear, well not quite the same.. On the R8 they're indervidual LEDs that light up in that motion.. It also does it when you lock or unlock the car.

Wish the S3 did the same!

Yeah the flow is beautiful, so gutted they didn't stick with this idea! In a few years time i think we will be looking back at LED indicators saying how cool we thought they were, because these beauties will be on most new Audi models! Great selling point to push the dearer lights packages like the LED vs Xenon!

I think they have these on the new TT as well.

Seen them on the new TT and an A6, do look a bit trick:icon thumright:

Think id settle for these if they were a £3,000 extra :jump:

Forgot about the TT it does indeed have them, but it's a very disappointing car (at least in my opinion).

TTS will be much better I'm sure

Love the sweeping lights in the first video. They're reminiscent of the 1-2-3 illumination sequence on the 2014-15 Ford Mustang rear signals.

The swarm effect in the second one is cool but I wouldn't want it on a road vehicle. I want my intentions to be crystal clear to the drivers behind me. I don't want them crashing into me as they're trying to figure out what the light show means. Government regulators would probably feel the same way so don't think we'll be seeing that one in production.

its something we can possibly have if the retro mod has been done on another car.

Yeah a retrofit of sweeping lights at the rear would probably be do able! was with the Audi A1 if you didn't have Xenon lights at the rear you could just stick the LEDs onto the back and change something with VCD'S.

If led rears with the sweeping function were made.. Far as I know they aren't?

I think the standard LED indicator lights are best from a no-nonsense clarity of intention point of view. They're nice and bright and you can't ignore them. The sweeping style doesn't look nearly as bright, not in the little video clips anyway!
