MMI update help

I'm struggling to update my mmi 3G, I have tried the k0257 amongst others but I can't get my unit to recognise the updates.
It just searches for a bit and then says it's not available.



This is currently what's on there

 
Found a place that will fix it...375 euros!!
At least they'll update it for me as well.

I just tried a different firmware and it attempted to emergency recover,

I re-downloaded the firmware I had originally been trying to update to and placed the files on a freshly formatted sd card.

Pop the card in slot 1...and away it went.

For the files, search the web.

Could you put a couple of pictures up of the new screens? Does it make the system screens identical to the newer MMIs?

Looks identical to previous versions, maps look better in 3D mode
