I'm a fan of these, proper smart looking. Just really nice to have metal plates without the black border and the 3D lettering looks well smart.

£36 odd all in including delivery, oh and had to drive to Birmingham in person to order last week ( visited cadburys world at the same time ).

Arrived earlier today, hoping to get fitted tomorrow or at the weekend. Few pics below pre fitting.

Not fancy short plates? Looks so tidy IMO.

I thought about it, they see nice on the back but as the plate holder on the front is full size I just don't think it suits it that well.
I agree. My number is the same length but I have EU plates as I quite frequently take my A3 to Europe but I think a shorter number on a full size plate looks better than a cut-short plate. To me the cut-short plates always look a bit squashed up. Full size plates also provide a greater reflective area on the back of the car which can be useful.

Can you get these in a show plate style without the manufacturer print? I think they look really good!

Ok thanks! I have a set already but they have the black border which ruins them a bit. I'll drop them a message and see what they say!

Smart looking

Going to order a set, but will have to wait until I pick the car up in 2 weeks.

Are you sticking or screwing them on?

lol I'm sure we will forgive you ;)

What a result! I just did I search on http://www.ultratekplate.com/ for my local supplier and it shows it as being 'Cheshire Oaks Audi' :) Just emailed Chris to see if he can sort me a pair out.

That site is pretty new, been Cheshire Oaks a lot but never seen the Audi dealership

It's tucked up behind it away from the motorway, if you come off the motorway instead of turning right at the lights/Sainsburys, just keep going straight up towards Wales. It's only a few hundred yards up there along with a Honda, Hyundai & Porsche dealership. Chris Payne is the man to speak to, I can't praise him enough, though he probably thinks I'm a pain in the **** with all the emails I've sent him, but he always replies or phones :)

You can't miss it!

Coa Coa2

I'll have to go next time I'm up that way to check it out.

I went to see Optimus Prime at Coliseum, cool day!

They are fantastic, really do like them - very impressed.

Fitted yesterday and took loads of pics, the definition of the lettering is ace and they have a glittery type look in full sun. Just super clean, bold plates in my opinion.

P.S. Yes car is dirty
P.P.S is rained not long after fitting so some photos are dark and they got wet lol

Awesome. Excellent photos. I want some

You should be on commission from Hill's :)

Really like these. Saw them at a show at the NEC In January and thought they were really smart. The fact they say hills number plates at the bottom is a bonus for me too with me sharing the same last name :moa:

Oh yeah I like those, shame that my local supplier doesn't have them! I'll have to order direct.

I take it that they are the standard size 520mmx111mm

I agree that the plates look good, my only concern would be that they are not as easy to keep clean as a smooth sheet of perspex. Also are they able to do the EU/GB blue section as this is a must for me.

Not being able to order number plates on-line is to help to prevent number plate fraud. The owner must order them in person and the must have the V5 form and some form of photo ID such as a photo driving licence.

Will be similar to pressed plates, maybe a little more effort to clean but never bothered me before.

Yes they can do the GB / EU, etc I just wanted a clean look.

I see you point about getting them in person but they do other type plates online and 100's of sellers sell license plates online.

I've sent them an email asking the best way to get them, as one of their stockists is saying that they don't stock them!!!
