Opinion on these alloys?

Like them but Rotor replicas are easily noticeable as such. The grey is too shiny compared to a genuine wheel which has a more matt finish.

does that matter? Don't think i've ever picked up a set of alloys and gone "oh these are heavy, awful alloys :hi:

If you look through my thread there is a link to some reps which I got and they looked and measured near as damit OEM. Weight was same as my old 18's to hand, I didn't weigh them but they felt same.

If you cannot find link in my thread I got them from Hotline wheels, they are based in Manchester.

If you are after looks, I see no problems with reps. You will definitely feel some diference if you start to use it at track days or even 'spirited' driving.

My main concern with replicas would be the potential to not deal with bad roads and bukling, if they are not best quality. To be fair, due to the price difference you could get two or three sets for the price of 'originals' and live with it :)

They look nice but I would always try and avoid reps after bad experiences with them. If the off set is different from originals (and it usually is) it can lead to problems with uneven wear, I'm not saying it definitely will but I had problems where the inner front edges were being worn to cord within about 2000 miles even though spacers were added to even out the off set. I eventually put a set of originals on and not only did it resolve the wear problems but completely transformed the way it drove so for me, I'll always look for OEM ;)
