Hi all after some advice. Went to change number 1 injector on my audi 2.5 tdi v6 . Turned out injector was the rong one but im glad it was on looking 3 out of the 12 hydrolic tappit/ cam follower arms where sat in the bottom of the head. Any ideas of y they would of come out?? Car runs like a dream apart from a hesitate just for a second when throttel. But the air flow meter is working out of its parameter so put it down to that. Have now replaced the top hats on the vavles as one is was missing and manage to refit the the top has and rocker arms. But all seems very loose?? Any ideas or are they nackerd lol

Cam and rocker wear... The only way to fix is to re-build the top end with some quality parts...

He's right- he has just done mine (replaced all cams and rockers etc) and what a difference it has made. Sooo much quieter, smoother and more economy to boot. Actually, it is running the way Audi told it to in the first place. Not bad for 199k miles...
Can't remember hiow many for certain but LOTS of rockers on mine had fallen out and the wear was awful.
