That looks insane as!!! How did you manage to get the s3 8p steering wheel on and working??? easy or hard??

Thanks pal.

Its an s3 8V SW. Its very easy to install the wheel but you will need to splice the old connector from the old air bag to the new air bag, this is something I would not attempt, so I had the company HazzyDayz do it for me.

If you can find out what wires to cut an connect it can be done in no time at all.

Hey mate its an OEM front lip from a Seat Cupra R, just gotta do some mild mods to install it, took me 30-45mins max

and this may be a silly question.. those dimensions of these wheels, you say they are 18" by 9.5 wide all round? whats et23 all round mean. and what size tyre profile you running?? cheers man
 
My 2002 A3T from South Africa, wheel arches and underneath pretty clean too.

Some very nice looking A3's on here. Sadly mine is a little doggy but I picked it up for £100 so i'm not complaining. As the car owes me next to nothing i'm gonna have a good play and see what i can do with it.
When I got it, the bumpers were hanging off, the rad was blown and nearly all the trim was missing but it had a new gearbox. Now after a little work its like this.

Not really shown my car a lot of love recently as I've had a work van and not been too fussed about having it on the road getting covered in crap over winter.
MOT day came, and I was getting a little worried...

So I had a good check over it all and topped any fluids up.

Yay! It passed with flying colours.
Not gotten around to any cleaning yet but when the weathers better I'll be treating her to a bit of a correction with my DA and some polish and wax.





This morning I finally got around to replacing my faulty thermostat, and replaced the coolant with G13. It now sits bang on 90° on the motorway with the heaters on full. Something it's never done in the 3 years of ownership :encouragement:

Ive just bought an A3 8L 1999, This is my first project and I don't even know where to start or what to do first, your engine looks amazing, any pointers on where to start?
