Has anyone out there got the SD card satnav? Have you found your favourites and home has vanished? All my have and I have to keep putting in my home postcode every week or so.

I really do not think this is a security feature.

I had it happen once shortly after I got the car (1st three weeks), but since then (7 months) I've had no problems.
I have no idea why it happened, and all my favorites are still there from the second time I entered them.
On the home front, I have the local police station set as my home location.
 
I would be keen to know too. This happens to me on an almost weekly basis it's getting to be a right pain. It usually happens when we synch up different phones to the car. My wife drives it in the week and I tend to drive it only on the weekends.

Unable to test that scenario as SWMBO refuses to have a mobile, but appreciates the convenience of getting me to send messages or make calls on her behalf.
 
That's interesting, because some of my navigation favorites are not stored anywhere on the phone. And they are still available when the phone is nowhere near the car. I would have expected this level of integration for tech pack, but not for an SD card-based system.
 
I found this issue when I switched the car on, went straight to favourites on my navigation and it wasn't there.

I let the sat nav and phone pair up and it found my favourites.
