This is driving me mad...

Under braking at high speed say from 100 down to 70 the car vibrates like mad, under 70 it's not noticeable..

Checks done:

Disc runout 0.03 so under tolerances (Sept)
Both sides check for play in ball joints, hubs, suspension both sides solid as a rock

Could it be wheel imbalance causing it? There is a slight vibration at 80/85 but nothing that bad.

Any suggestions are more than welcomed... TIA

Wheel balancing

Top mounts

Wishbone bushes

Buckled wheel

Wheel alignment

Had the wheels balanced today, 40g out on one and 20g out on the other! Tyres pressures were 10 psi down too! 45 psi on the front is surprisingly high mind you! Not had chance to go for a blast yet but felt a little better. Whilst the wheels were of visual check and grab of disc to check for play all ok. I'm thinking it's gotta be discs, only £130 a set from EBC direct :)-

Glad you got it sorted mate and saved a few £'s as well.
