The rest of system has this on too but cant see that as its under the car but i jet washed it before it was put on the car,

I just cant get this crap off

Anything i can buy from halford or order online to remove it or any tips on how to make then sparkle again autosol for two hours didnt work at all, do i need w wire brush or fine sandpaper

PLEASE HELP

thanks in advance

Yeah some wet and dry paper not too harsh though, that should get most of it off, go down the grades and then finish with a microfiber and metal polish.

spray mr muscle inside and out side

I always had very good results with Autosol. Just wash the tips with water, wipe with a dry cloth, then apply this magic ointment on to a clean cloth and get rubbing - the tips will look like new in no time. You can get it at your local Halfords for about £6.

Fine grade steel wool think its 0000 grade with autosol! My mums golfs were like that and I searched detailing forums and tried that they come up like new

Ive tried autosol today it lifted abit of the rusty type stuff and bi of the black stuff underneath it but it took 2hours and i feellike ive done a hardcore workout at the gym, i go gym everyday and it doesnt hurt like this lol

So 0000 grade wool and autosol should shine it up ?

Yeah give it a try I've went and checked its rustins steel wool grade 0000 I used along with the autosol made a massive difference I think the autosol on a cloth ain't harsh enough to break it up but the fine grade wool helps maybe need to give it a few goes to get it looking good, let me know how you get on with it mate

Nice, I didn't know about steel wool. A cloth worked for me very well, but maybe my tips were not as badly affected.

Get a polishing wheel for a drill, and use it with the autosol, polished the lips on my LM's when I had them and they came up really nicely

I use sand paper 2000 then polish it out it really works and it dosent scratch the exhaust

Same as polishing wheels mate, 1500-2000 sand paper finished with a good metal polish. I've only tried Megaiurs metal polish but get very good results with that.

i used to use 'silvo with wadding' on my miltek exhaust when i had my golf and that worked pretty good

You could use Coke (the drink not the drug :D). Youtube the video of some fella cleaning his rusty chrome bumper with it ;) It's amazing!

^^this. The 0000 wool won't mar the finish like sandpaper, and the combination with Autosol should work miracles.

2000 sand paper wheel and paper too and ive alresy got auto sol, i will get these damn tips clean lol,

Also ive not had car mapped yet its hesitant under accelerationg and then makes a popping noise and then it will pick up speed, does this meam it meeds mapping to suit the exhaust ?

Shame the tips are made out of cheap metal that just rots away
