Best going DTM to be on the safe side, that bumper looks ok in the picture but as you say fitment and quality will probably be questionable.

Genuine RS4 bumper will fit with a slight mod seen it done....keep an eye on ebay

Hi,

Been on the look out for an aftermarket RS4 look grille & front bumper for my A4 B7 S Line Avant.

Found this one on eBay, anyone fitted it? What's the fitment like? Is general quality good etc.?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A4-8...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3385e3755c

Can anyone recommend good quality aftermarket one that bolts staright on with no mods?

Regards
Steve

Thanks V6 Quatt, can you elaborate on the slight mod? Is it a mod to rs4 bumper or the car itself? Assuming its just fixing points rather than shape of bumper itself trhat need mod'ing

There's a Swedish Forum member on here who has fitted this from your original post. It looks a bit busy for my liking and having gone through the pain with an ABT kit myself I know how difficult they are to fit, even the really good ones Hofele, Caractere etc. If I had to do it all again, I would go OEM whenever possible if I had the chance.

Hi Molnboman,

Thanks for your advice , speaking with my local bodyshop and advice from you & other forums I think I may not embark on this modification unless I find a real good deal for OEM kit.

Steve

With hindsight, I would have spent my cash spent on bodykit and painting on some engine or suspension mods instead.

I have bought an fitted that bumper with no problems. It fits perfectly. Here's mine finished and painted. Turns heads as only a few seem to have it in the uk.

Ah gutted, absolutely gutted, was worried about side profile as couldn't find any decent pictures of one fitted. Yours looks very good imo I've literally just dropped mine off at bodyshop to get front bumper re sprayed and rs4 grille fitted. To late for me now :(

aha, that looks the business, but i'm not sure it's quite the right style for me, a little too angular around the fogs.
is it me or does the paint color/shade differ a bit from the bodywork, looks the dogs bits though:cool:;), i might go this way if i could see some closer differnet angle pics, otherwise i stick with the DTM version.

Yeah it is a slightly different shade of red. I had a company do it an the didn't do a very good job. I'm going to wait until the weathers better an spay it myself. It's even bubbling in places. The style makes it look a bit more evil. I'll put up a few more pics up if it helps you choose. I like to be different as everyone goes for the rs4 or dtm. I would choose the rs4 over the dtm. I love the dtm rear bumper tho :)

Rob I think you should go for this on your car, the bumper is only about £360 including the mesh grille on eBay. Also, i'm wishing I had picked a red car now instead of vanilla silver :p

i keep looking at the front pic but just cant place what it reminds me of:think:, but it will come to me shortly i expect.:)

Sorry to bring up and old thread but really like the look of that bumper, does it take a sline or non-sline grill?

That's a non s-line fitment and the grill is aftermarket, plenty of non s-line grilles around to fit that aftermarket bumper , those bumpers do take some fiddling around to get fitted properly aswell.
Nice bumpers but personally I don't think the style really suits the B7 , just looks to aggressive and boxy, just my input but all down to personal choice.

Hey sorry for bringing this back up but how would I go about putting the Audi rings and s line badge on the grill

Love the look of this the front profile is spot on

I like it, the bottom half of it looks very A6 C7 in style.
Hmmm..............
