Closing the panoramic roof from the remote?

Quick question, I have a 2011 S3 Sportback with the panoramic roof. The windows roll up when I lock the car and hold the lock button. Is it possible to also get the panoramic roof to close? I had a look in Vag Com and couldn't seem to find anything relevant.

I tried coding it on my 2010 S3. The coding was saved successfully. But the roof never close on remote lock.

Can't remember what was byte/bit it was. But from My research it won't ever work

I actually remember reading once that it is possible, but I can't seem to find the thread that explained how to code it in vag com.
 
Yes you can code it to shut from the remote, I did mine a while ago. I can't remember the coding now but I can check tomorrow

I got this working on a golf but haven't had this asked for on an A3 recently that i can remember... anyone wants to try it out il give the coding a shot

Anyone have any luck with this?
I had a look around the electronic module (09) but couldn't find anything.
 
Do you not have these options in vcds?

Thats in 09 , 46 (central convenience) is showing but vcds wont access it.
Have you ticked those options and still nothing?
 
Most of them are ticked. I can't remember exactly, but most are ticked.
 
Update model doesn't have 46, only there to show numbering. Codes now all in 9.
I've tried without success on my 2010 sportback with the glass roof. Windows yes, roof no... BUT you can make it work from the key in the door lock..go figure?
I've tried recoding numerous times, also tried to get rain closing to work but no go.
I've has 2 audi dealers also have a go but neither was successful. They said the model with the glass roof probably doesn't have the coding required in its module.
So.. if any one has 'really' got it to work please post up the steps for the update model.

Mine definitely fully closes windows AND Pan roof with either the key in the lock OR by the remote. Checked it again today!
 
When was your built?
Mine was Nov 2010.
I believe there were changes to some systems 2010 to 2012
 
Im not in UK but I have been informed the change was on the 60 plate..model with slimmer side mirrors and I think white mfd.
 
White MFD are on all facelift 8P's from 08/58 and I love my Dumbo mirrors:arco:
 
What about byte 5 bit 7 " comfort adaptation blocked", is that unticked?

audi upgrades
Same here. Actually I believe the Audi Techs on this. Option isnt there on these builds.
Windows do as they should, just roof. He said it was someting to due with rules on pinch prevention.
 
Quick bump, has anyone been able to get this feature working?
