Possible new s3

Hi guys so as some may know I had smashed my car late in December due to black ice. I was tempted to buy an astra vxr nurburgring edition but to me just seems too in your face... So I went back to looking at s3 again and I have found this... Ebay no 131417472415 .

does anyone know this car? I have messages to view it and if all seems okay will make an offer for it..

Any comments appreciated

my 2 pennies, just do the usual external checks - hpi, check dealer history to match with the paperwork he has.
128K miles and "....there is the odd stone chip on the front but nothing out the ordinary". All I can say is that it sounds like it's had some very loving 8 previous owners- mostly non motorway. So just in case check for respray and possible previous accidents. Get someone with you who can see through these things. Most of us just see a shine and think it's mint (I say this as I have fallen foul of this in the past) and certainly without doubt do not bid just on the pictures and what is stated. Even after saying that, It may be a genuine, it certainly looks good in the pictures with some nice little extras. Is 4K right price (privately) for this...you decide if you are happy to pay once you have actually inspected and driven it.

Thanks for the info, I have a couple of friends coming. I seem to b hopeless when picking a car to buy I think near all the cars have been problem cars since near makes no difference day 1. one of my friends is well known in the vauxhall scene so hope he can help point out anything, and bringing an OBD reader to give the car a scan. If I can get it for the right price might be a nice purchase hopefully...
