MY AUDI S3 BIG BUILD

Nice motor mate, when you did your headlights were they easy to dismantle and spray, also did you have to prepare your front grill before spraying. I'm wanting to tackle this myself but worried in case I muck it up. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.
people stick them in the oven but I stuck mine in a big box with a hole so I could fit my hair dryer and left it in there for 10mins then pulled apart and some of the bits are screwed and some are clipped, touch of masking up for the front lenses and once done and fitted back together stick both bits back in the box for 10mins till the glue is soft and the press together and job done.Grill surround just clips off and then you can flick over with paper primer and colour

Cheers mate will have a go at the weekend and see how it goes

I do need to update as it's been a while

Yep it's come from a skyline but I bought it from my mate which it was on his evo 6 then I stuck it on my evo 6 then when I broke it I kept it for my big build

Great news.

Looks like Santa has been very generous, and brought all the right bits.

Looking forwards to news of it running.....good luck.

It's a nice piece of kit but it's very thick so it's hard to heat up to bend I to place ,I did the pillows on my 500 Abarth but it did not come out nice so I ripped it off but I will order some 4d because that's so much thinner so it should work out better because it's part of the door and the s3 it can come off so that was my problem

Had a look at some 5d in the flesh last night. Impressive stuff. Might use that to cover the splitter I'm going to make up rather than getting it skinned in proper carbon fibre

It will cover it nice and being thick it should not chip easy

Tuner has been busy with other stuff so my build has taken a back seat but when he gets back off holiday he will start to crack on with it,Starting with the rollcage first
Will keep it updated when I can
