Has anyone fixed a tripod into an a4 and if so how? I would like to set my cameraa up on the back seat for tunnel shots etc

A tripod needs a solid base or the vibration would seriously affect your image.
Are you talking about stills or video...?

If the car is moving at all, you will only get a blur.
Even if you stop, there will still be enough movement in the suspension to blur the shot.

Presume, from above, you were hoping to create some long streaks of light, using wide angle to include the car interior ? Haven't done this in an A4, but have in other cars using various different methods, tripods, gorilla pod around headrests (only holding a G15 compact tho ! ) a supergrip works well on headrest pillars too, so......

I think you should be ok, put a leg in either rear passenger foot well and third leg into the cubby in the arm rest, adjust the leg length to achieve correct position of the head, then just to keep it all in place a bungee of the base of the tripod pillar into the rear ashtray aperture......... Simples !

Use a remote shutter release to save getting distracted when driving :icon thumright:

Just go try it and lets see the results !
