Sorry for heavy picture content ;) but this is only a handful of them!first two are a 13MY insignia that had suffered from particularly bad swirling in it's years existence.the second two is an 11MY auris and finally the last two are from my own 99 facelift b5 A4 tdi in lz3w merlin pearl all three have been polished using chemical guys v34 and pooboys ssr1 and the finished with a coat of poorboys nattys blue wax (barring the last pic, that got a touch up using autoglym super resin polish) enjoy :) I did!

One taken at Weston Park earlier in the year. I don't do much serious car cleaning but found the Autoglym super resin polish is quite good.

A piccie taken at Santa pod by Blacketts photography. They use a polarising filter apparently and it makes the cars look clean .

Had a moment thought I'd share my weekends work with a quick overview...
Quick wash, clay, tar removal to lower parts and rear. Then onto the paint correction, full three part correction with Sonus SFX products and pads (various grades). Couldn't get rid of all the marks so using Autoglym super resin polish (it's full of fillers) she had two coats by hand followed by a Autoglym extra gloss protection. Finally to get the depth and wet look it was a final coat of Chemical Guys Vintage Classic paste wax, it's nuts expensive but had it probably 2 years and still half a pot left

So the reflection shots (iPhone quality)

Scotty76 , honestly was really close to calling it s day after the first hand applied coat but I'd gone so far at that point I couldn't live with myself if I didn't finish it.

Finally got round to polishing the car, at 70k the paintwork had been neglected all it's life. There were lots of scratches and blemishes
I went through a full claybar and 2 polishing pads and it still needs some attention.
It went -snow foam, wash, clay, wash, clay, wash, used megs ultimate compound with a DA polisher twice and then autoglym paintwork renevator using a medium pad. then 2 coats of autoglym HD wax.

I'm so there right now. Washed the car Sunday, filthy again by Monday without even leaving the drive.

It wasn't so much the dirt off the roads but it was the dust(live next to a field) that I couldn't handle.
That combined with the waterspots in dust topped it off.
Can't deny tho that black is the best colour for results

Here's my standard 2.0t fsi quattro

And finally my old golf
