finally got round to getting new twin pipe

Looks good and see there are no back boxes so assume it is a TDI

What engine
 
How does it sound as been tempted to remove the back boxes or at least gut them to look OEM
 
There is a wee note from it . Can't here anything in side . Only center box its also has cat removed

Won't make much noise as you have not up sized the pipes, if they went from Std to the size of the tips, when this is done gradual you get a good tone at high revs.
 
I'm debating removing the back box on mine and/or the cat too.
I've got enough pipe to have a straight through welded in
 
I think its got to if this is the inside of Audi silencers, quite a labyrinth for the gases to find their way out.

Oh no, think I know what I'll be doing over the summer now ;) just need to get hold of a rear lower valance. I assume it's a 1.8T's? Looks awesome!
 
That's not bad at all really, I was expecting more around the £200+vat mark.

I'm going to be ordering some bits and bobs in a couple of weeks so I'll get an up to date price and post up.

Il be removing it completely since I've got a votex rear and il get a nice 100mm tip

Are people only removing the back boxes on the 1.9s? Or other boxes too
