Guys,

I've a very irritating issue. My front passenger seat is stuck forwaqrd, it won't slid (apart from lifting the hande that you would if you were sitting in the seat) and it won't tilt. It is stuck folded down. It seems as though there is something jammed in the runners. Has anyone ever seen this or heard of it?

Any help is appreciated, it is seriously annoying. Thanks.

Bump, anyone?

I've rang my local Audi, but they haven't been much help and I won't get a chance to drop the car into them until the first of Feb (as they seems to close at 2pm???)

I've the seat out of the car tuffty, stripped the side panels and airbag. Had a good poke around, thought it might have been the cable that operates the sliding mechanism, but pulling that by hand and trying to flip the seat at the same time doesn't help. I would send it into my local Audi stealers but they charge an absolute fortune per hour and they operate very inconvenient hours.

Have you fixed it yet? I had the same issue... Then I worked it out...

I'm not exactly sure how, but I managed to fix my problem. I removed the bar that connects the two lower hinges and was able to stick a big screwdriver in and wind both sides back up evenly. Put everything back together and it is now fully functional again. I've got no idea what it was! Thanks for the help guys.
