MOT tomorrow so I thought I had better refit them found a couple of things easy fix.
Wheel needs to be removed only.
The self tapper thread had rusted or been yanked out so fitted new ones.

Sorted one side

The other side mudflat was full of mud due to being broken so a bit of super glue then hot melt cured that (it's only on the inside of the mudflap so it can't be seen)

I had the same problem on my A6 le mans as they were fitted by the previous owner.

Spoke to Audi and they said they should not be fitted to s-line and le mans models are they sit lower than the rest of the range.

Car passed Mot wahoo.
Yes I had heard this too. It's mainly multi story car park and steep incline drives.

They should not be fitted to s-line and le mans models are they sit lower than the rest of the range.

I have had them fitted on my 2009 S-Line avant for five years with no problems.

MUD

The rears on my car caught the kerb all the time. Yours looks like it has more of an arch gap than mine if I'm honest.

I was thinking the same will take a snap tomorrow.
Like the tail pipes. They look a lot better.

Oh and caught them again today on another drive today was steep though.

Here are a couple of pics of my A6 so you can compare ride height and one of the tail pipes :)
Still have the mud flaps on the front as they have been fine. I am still running the standard suspension and the same rolling circumference as it came from the factory.

Here is a very quick snap of clearance in mine.

I had thought to measure the base of the mudflap to the ground.
Maybe tomorrow.

Looking at the tyre size on the first picture they are 19", but as you say Royc that does look very low.

A few bits in the boot but nothing really heavy.
Standard S-line as far as I'm aware unless there is a suspension upgrade other than the S-line.
Yes 19" wheels.
I will empty bits from the boot tomorrow and take another snap and measure the mudflap Height.

been busy sorry for the delay, here is with no tools.
Wheel arch

That looks like the same as mine, what sort of tools did you have in the back, they must be some weight.

Shovel, tow bar rod, ropes and work tools. :)

That must be some work tools is it something like this?

Admittedly the shovel was for when the snow was about if the Quattro didn't get me through it. And the tow rod was to pull other people out :)
Yes my toolboxes are not that heavy so I thought? no wonder my backs knackered.
That's some digger bucket !
