Don't know about you guys, but I hate using scissor jacks.....

Anyways, jacking up a B8 A4 seems to be a pain, and trolley jacks seem to be useless because you cannot use the available jacking point with a trolley jack.....

Anyways, found this on fleabay, and was wondering if any of you out there had used something similar - this ones for an A5...cannot find anything similar for the A4 B8 though.......

Audi Jack Pad

Bought one of these for my A5, haven't used it yet, but appears to be of good quality.

Why can't you use a trolley jack on the A4?

I use a trolley jack on the normal jacking points.

Normal standard trolley jack, standard dish on the end. The jacking points are a thick section of steel on end, never moves or anything.

I have to use a trolley jack cos our 4 post lift is too tall for the S-line to get on and off without some awful crashing, scraping and banging from below!

I use one with a single puck that I milled a slot in, but only because the standard jack pad is very thin.

Used the Audi scissor jack and it was a nightmare broke and was crap! Took over an hour to change a tyre! The old a3 ones were perfect Imo and did the job why they changed I have no idea

Job for "jackpoint jack stands"? That is what stopped me worrying about lifting my car, and now all others. Costs an awful lot of money, but does the job nicely, got two pairs and they store very easily stacked one upon the other.
