hi just joined the group in search of an answer . I had joined up to another forum , posted my problem but not had single reply. I have an a3 1.9 tdi sportback 2006 . recently when travelling at various speeds the glow plug and management lights flash up , the car briefly lurches as tho the key has been turned off and on. ive had it looked at on diagnostics and brought up glow plug error code. new set then fitted was told problem was cured. took car out and same thing happening.it is a really quick flash up on dash and car then seems to reset and not happening again, but it is happening once a day . went back with the car and garage were baffled because when put back on diagnostics no error codes showing. please help.

Glowplug loom is one also that's been an issue on some TDI's, I believe its a shared loom with the injectors, maybe worth considering, also maybe a diesel purge to clean up the injectors.

i had this issue for around 3 weeks then it wudnt start,had to have the ecu replaced,it had its days apparently.
i got a 2nd hand one and had it recoded,hope its not that,but if it is,i can help in getting it coded.
