Hi all,

I currently have a problem with my PDC whereby when I put my car in reverse rather than the distance display, I get a long beep and the light flashes. This happens about 95% of the time and it works as normal about 5% of the time.
I have front and rear sensors and graphical display from the factory.

From reading on other sites, I think either a sensor or the PDC module. I have done the click test and all the sensors are clicking away and when it does randomly work I've tested all the sensors on the graphical and they're all working so I've come the the conclusion that it's probably an issue with the module.
Unfortunately I don't have vagcom to check. If anyone is willing to help in northants that would be a great help!

I currently have part number: 8K0 919 475 D
That is an 8 sensor with graphical support module.

I've seen on eBay part number: 8K0 919 475 R
This is also an 8 sensor with graphical support also but seem to be a slightly newer model.

Does anyone know if this will be plug and play or if it will need programming with vagcom?

You need to get vcds on it, don't bother replacing anything until this has been done, its probably a sensor tbh sporadically faulting, confirm 1st then swap out the relevant part.

If you want this done for you, ping a PM of location & we can see if we can help.

select module 76 and check for fault codes, it will show up which sensor is faulty.

It's a joke that Audi disables the hole parking system even if only one sensor is faulty. It should just be grayed out if visual parking system is enabled, or just disable the the end that is faulty....
