BBT hybrid with New Badger5 high flow k04 exhaust manifold first tests look promising

Bill, just curious but would you expect the manifold to produce more HP than ft lbs on a stock ko4 turbo?

I was looking at a few dynos of the jbs ko3 manifold and they all produced more HP than ft lbs which you don't see with the stock manifold. BUT these were all different hybrid ko3 so its hard to tell if its the combination of turbine and compressor pushing the power up the rpm band or if its manifold design

firstly the manifold does'nt make power or torque... the engine does...

mapping and boost delivery determin whats produced. things like manifold facilitate it.

Okies.. Reviewing the overall costs of these, and consummables in machining them @ CNC shop and post CNC here... There will be a small increase in sales price on any manifolds not already ordered.

Price will be £312+vat going forward

Price includes, High flow K04 exhaust manifold, Exhaust manifold gasket to head, turbo to manifold gasket, stainless steel turbo to manifold bolts, and nordlock washers.

UK Delivery is £10.70

I think that one has a Frankenturbo ceramic coating, AFAIK Bills manifold is the same casting but has a special collector and not coated the same
 
heads up
these can be bought elsewhere for less but they wont arrive in the same state as the b5 one as he modifies it to flow. the untouched ones cause miss fires

And the metal casting is freaking hard so good luck altering it yourself

Yep. Our ChinaFold is identifiable by its CNC machining on the flanges and the brutally hogged-out outlet to the turbo. The dimension is 47mm. Why that specific size? Because it's a prime number, that's why. No other logic beyond that.

But we don't ceramic-coat it. The dull grey finish is just what the bare casting looks like.
