Any advice on resetting my service light on a 2011 A3?

I cannot find anything online and I've done it before but this time it appears to just not work... anyone have this issue before? I cannot stand seeing the little wrench on my instrument panel anymore!!! any advice would be greatly appreciated, Cheers!

Believe it needs to be done with vcds

VCDS just ask for volunteers near you to sort it out.

thanks guys for your help! I'll try to find something around me and maybe look into buying one myself. Are they worth it?

It might look expensive to start with but I love mine and it's saved me £££££££ of the dealers sorting my problems. You can also tweak settings to turn on / off Audi options.

due to the age it has to be set to CSV file then go into cluster, then go to ESI then reset that way, snap on wont do it, VCDS or Dealer

you have to go in to controller maps, tick CSV then go to cluster and adption and in the drop down box go down to ESI (there term used for service reset) sounds harder than it is tbh dude

You're not wrong there. Has saved me a fortune already and well worth it.
