Hi Guys,
Wondering if anyone has a solution or can help?

I am getting really bored of have to burn audio CD's for my S3 CD changer in the boot.. I wanted to connect a USB or iPod in the boot or glove box to allow me hold a larger variety of music and easy to update, rather than burning CD's all the time... The concert stereo is a tape player with cd changer...

My mate mentioned something about an adapter vw made to replace cd changer for mp3... But that's all he know...

I don't really want to mess up the neat looking dash by buying an after Market stereo, the beautiful dash will not be worth looking at...

Has anyone done anything this want I'm think or has a solution?

Thanks

Thanks Chris...
I going to look to order this... The price is high, but if it good and works it worth it... You had any issues with it?

None at all, I can still play CD's with the multi changer, and it is also linked in with my phone kit. I can't complain about it at all

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but I'm looking to sort my S3's soundsystem out this spring.
Are you saying there's a way of connecting an iPod/iPhone and still keeping the multi-changer functionality?

You mean a separate CD changer or the built in one of the symphony double din unit?

I use this on both my cars

My A2 has a single din CD player and this works fine with both the CD player and the iPod... I don't have a separate CD Changer though and the Connects2 unit does not have a pass through for the CD Changer... I would imagine that the head unit itself might not support multiple changers in which case you couldn't switch between changer/iPod interface anyway...

Yeah I've got the BOSE Concert system with the changer in the boot. Ideally I'd like to be able to connect my iPhone but also be able to play CDs occasionally.
Am i right in thinking that it might be possible to use the Connects2 thing that you linked to, but set up some kind ofswitch that enables me to use the boot changer when I feel like it?

That's what the Xcarlink does as linked perviously in this thread.

Ah ok - couldn't see that anywhere on the Xcarlink page. Assumed it replaced the CD changer when using the HU. Cheers :thumbs up:
