Hi all i have a 2008 57 plate 1.9TDI SE it has a 8P0 920 951 K cluster at the moment would i be able to fit a 8p0 920 982J?

Do i need anything extra? ive already got a MFSW on route, the car has Cruise so the module should be fine

Any info would be perfect

Is your car a auto or manual? as you say its a SE and has cruise but that does not necessarily mean that you have the right steering module to get the MFSW working.
Also the cluster will need the immo coded to your car otherwise the car won't start.

Hey ash, can you retrofit clocks and code them?
I've a spare 2010 cluster lol.
thanks

Im down south by london. I have people here that can code the immo for you.
I can come to south London, that's not a problem for me. I'm not in a hurry to get it done, just let me know the price and a date when you're available.

Manual, ive already checked the module and its 8P0 953 549 F, the only one im yet to check is the slip ring, but then ive got the C on the shelf so its not really an issue, yeah i know i need the immo coded (and mileage) do you use VAG COMMANDER for that? (thats what we use on the mk5 golfs)

so will that cluster work in my non DIS? as im sure i read somewhere about fuel pump wiring or some such

I thought the fuel pump issue is only for pre 2005 models? double grill cars ???

Yeah that's true, good luck with your retrofit man, I'm upgrading my cluster too to 2010.

Ideal, when i done the highline on my mk5 golf around 5 yrs ago i stumbled on a thread which was almost a complete walk through of swapping the immo over, im hoping someone can pass on said info for the A3

a3 this year is not as simple as mk5. i can also do both if ash doesnt fix these

fair enough, so to swap the immo to a new cluster what would you need, car, or just new cluster and spare key?

so has anyone got a link to coding the immo of a replacement cluster OR is there anyone that i can send the cluster and the spare key to so i can get this done?

Have you physically checked the module by removing the lower cowling to see the part number, or plugged VCDS in to check?
Or have you just checked with your local Audi parts department?

phil havent we spoke already? if you send both clusters i can clone them yes but its not easy and the tools are not cheap. my prices are quite high because of this.
