since we have a few other big threads, like 'what have you done to your a4 today'

I thought I'd make 'to-do' list thread as my b6 probably has the biggest todo list lol.

Which includes:-
Oil cooler
Thermostat and g13 + flush
Oil and filter
Cb joint or joints maybe
Gearbox oil would be good too
I need a wing mirror glass too

So feel free to contribute:- maybe even tick the list off as we're going, plus it might not make me feel as bad about my car

- Replace collapsed engine mount (should have one arriving early next week)
- Replace front wings (mid 2015)

Forgot about my engine mount, it's showing a fault on vcds

Plus my wings arnt too bad, I should replace them but I think il just paint them in the summer, I've got a spare litre of paint left

I need to sort / check;

Check the Cams for wear.
Due a service in Feb.
Rear drop links.
Fit front Eibach Springs.
Replace front arms.
Sort rear wiper motor.
De-cat.
4 wheel alignment after front springs fitted
Thermostat replace.

Full service
Get paint work sorted
Source and fit sline door blades
Have wheels refurbed
Get Windows re-tinted
Snub mount
Gearbox mounts
Full stainless
Sort weird knock noise from the front
Have a look and fix osf window, as only works when door is closed.
Fit me oil catch can
The list goes on and in lol

I really need to replace the front door wiring looms. The wires are knackered in the rubber boots. If anyone knows a good place to buy them please let me know.

Service
Gearbox Oil
Discs & Pads all round
EGR clean and delete
Replace drivers door window switches
Put new mats in (easy one lol)

Already in my possession ready to be fitted:
312mm front brake upgrade
RS4 RARB
Fit rear H&R springs
Upper and lower honeycomb centre grilles (need to make the lower one)
Fit S4 xenons (in transit to me as I type)
Get replacement drivers wing painted

To buy:
Replace engine and gearbox mounts (piece of mind)
Replace rear arm bushes when fitting springs and RARB

It will also get it's usual service as that only costs me £40 and my time, but it will be due a cam belt too this time.

Fix oil leak(cam tensioner gasket). Service. MOT (end of Feb). Bodywork(2 dents and decent polish). Alloy wheel refurb. Headlights are rubbish. Remap would be nice. That will have to do for starters.

Getting most of my parts this weekend, and should get them done in the next week or two.

I need to get a wing mirror from a breaker, but the mot ain't due til March so il wait.

Anyone know the part number for the engine mount with the solenoid on for the pd130 awx engine?

I'm returning a set of speedlines atm which Il sell when they done, I was tempted to fit them but not sure

I'm also in two minds to get quantum oil from eBay, or just get castrol from euro ?? Any thoughts?

Castrol's better but depending on price I'd probably go Quantum as it's almost identical.

My to do list never gets done haha, as I say I've been very lazy with this but I've also been in and out of jobs and doing some freelance work which has made me even more laid back as obviously I don't always know when my next paycheques coming.

To do:
Merge my RS4 rear valance with a b6 SE rear bumper and fit the honeycomb mesh then spray.
Full b7 front end conversion, literally got all the parts now just need them fitting with the wings being cut and headlight loom adapted then the wings and bonnet need spraying.
Turbo back dual exit exhaust.
Side mount intercooler.
Mapping to suit everything.
Couple more LED bits and bobs.
Need to sort my rear lights too as the one side is flickering at the moment.

Mounting 8E0 199 379 BF £116.26
Mounting 8E0 199 382 AG £98.93

Got these numbers/prices from TPS the dearer one will have the sensor

I just got 5L of quantum for my service of ebay for 27 quid. not sure if that was a good price or not.

Fix a dodgy rear wiper
Service
Front indicator not working
Error correctors need fitting to led headlight
Sound interference device needs fitting to amp to stop whining noise

And probably loads more haha. Hmm or maybe a b8 ;).....how to get the cash haha

Il just get some quantum them if it's only £20+

Tbh I don't know if a engine mount would make much difference, I don't have much vibration, if any.
But vcds does show a fault code

Mine gives a fault code also, mine has a slight leak, rub your finger under it, if you get some red fluid, it's leaking

Tps is either North Shields near Newcastle or Stockton on tees which is about 20miles away

I'm lucky, my local TPS is a stones throw from my work in Trafford Park.

Ticked a couple off my list today by fitting the S4 Xenons, and upper honeycomb grille. Just got to knock the lower centre grille up now to match the rest of them.

Finally fixed that pesky oil leak. Thought I had sorted it last month by replacing the rocker gasket but it was the cam tensioner gasket that was leaking. Hopefully should find time to give it a service on Friday.

I'm waiting for the rest of the snow to clear, then il get cracking.
Been able to see little speckles of oil in the snow lol.
Neighbors must hate me, the houses/ cul de sac is less than a year old hahahaha

Did oil change, oil and air filters and spark plugs. Didn't get around to doing fuel filter as I was freezing my a**e off and it was getting dark.
