8P S3 Front Splitter Options?

Lads / Ladies,

Looking into a few splitter options for my car, just seeing if there's anything else anyone has come across?
I know the Cupra R is a quite popular option...which is why I'm not overly keen on it.
Found a decent one from the US (Lost the picture and link) but it was priced at $1600...Outrageous.

Any idea on whether the MK1 Focus RS one would fit?
And there seems to be quite a few more splitter options for the B8 A4/S4s lads, any of these fit with a bit of bodging?

Any help appreciated!
 
Im interested in this also.. you never really see s3's with splitters though..

Exactly, which is why I quite like the thought of having one.
Something like this would be ideal.

Managed to find the splitter from the US I'd mentioned yesterday. Got the price slightly wrong, but still $1400 is still a bit steep and that's without adding on the shipping, which is $392...

Be nice to know if someone in the UK could have a go and make one similar?

HT Autos could make that. They make all the STI splitters for the Subaru scene by taking moulds of the original.
 
im in the middle of making one out of an a4 aftermarket splitter , fair do it is grp which im not fond of . bought it some time ago when the first splitters appeared for the a4 2008 on , mine doesn't have the s3 bumper only the sline one , disapointing as its quattro version . but i like the way the s3 bumper curves out more on the sides to follow the lines of the side skirts, i have one side piece done and half painted ,gonna be blue and silver to match the piece in the centre. the other side didn't have the proper contours in the moulding which ive had to improve on , its the centre piece that seems the hardest as i wanted to be able to remove it as a seperate piece like it does atm . seems to fit well but we all know grp can crack very easily .

I went through five splitters on my Impreza, I started to wonder if I should of bought shares in HT Autos
 
Problem with that thread is it will probably just stay just that. It's been going on for some time now, I'm sure that the company would have made them by now if they thought there was a real market and enough custom to make profit .
 
I've had several splitters on various cars and at some point no matter how careful u r the obvious wii happen smashed in some form so I don't think it's worth the hassle sry
