My cab was MOTd and serviced. Passed the mot but needs cam cover gaskets, new front disks and pads and rear arb bushes. Think I will wait til the warmer weather for most of it, pads and disks soon.

Busy day today,
First fitted new front shocks and also B5 perches.

Good on the Audi! Passed mot today just needed n/s track rod end and a couple of advisories, rear indicator bulbs starting to go a bit clear and rear drop links have a little play in them.
Happy days, Audi's really rock....

removed the last two locking nuts from the rear wheels , been driving for the last 2 months on borrowed time , even done a trip to north Scotland knowing if I got a puncture I would have been up sheeet creek.
bye the way , 19mm socket and a 2lb lump hammer done the trick .

Unexpected day off so quick oil change at my local garage. Ordered new front lower arms and rear drop links (advisories on mot) from ECP. Gone for the cheaper OCAP make and I am assured they are not made from toffee!!!

Some more little bits done to car . Finally finished and fitted bumper grill

Also got the rear skirt painted and fitted . Hope fully get the system made ASAP

Boring but replaced dull and knackered parking bulbs, a fog light bulb and a main beam bulb, which the previous owner had lazily replaced with blue coloured pieces of ****. Now got a lovely, symmetrical OEM front end.

I was supposed to be doing the same with my grilles over Christmas, but I drank too much beer ha ha
Where did you get the honeycomb for the centre one as it looks a closer match than the one I've bought?

If the plates are reflective and have the company name and kite mark on them then they are legal.

I've got the upper one with badge holder already, and I have a sheet for the centre one, but the holes are smaller than the standard ones.

Replaced servo flap motor that changes from the dash to feet, replaced the warning chime on the instrument cluster and fitted led bulbs in the boot lights.

I was always dubious about snow foam until I bought a lance, now I couldn't wash my car without it.

Replaced a broken engine mount on Monday evening. Oil service at the same time.
MOT on Friday o_O

This paste month I've fitted 6 new glow plugs, changed all the fuel return pipes, replaced my cracked engine cover, De-Gunked the air inlet manaflold, replaced a few broken plastic wiring loom clips, replaced the 4 bolts that hold the turbo in place with new shiny ones, replaced the headlight washer pump, fully valeted it and engine washed it,

Ah-ha, Ive seen one just like that go on my 2.5 on the drivers side, £97 for one from main dealer if i remember rightly ?

Yes, this was the driver side - done it before but used a 2nd hand unit.
This one I have replaced with a different part number - slightly stiffer and more resiliant to the older type, its not electrical hydro but was a lot cheaper! (I have put a resistor across the socket so it doesnt throw a soft code)

Only difference I have noticed from the electrical hydro mount is a slight bit more cabin vibration on cold start at idle - nothing to worry about, will more than likely do the other side at some point too.

Had the front lower suspension arms and rear drop links replaced earlier in the week. Wow what a difference it has made. They were only advisories on the mot but I thought I'd get them done. Drives well tight now. Bled the air from the heater system so much warmer air in the cabin now which is brilliant.
I love my Audi.
