24th jan is payday woop gettin a brilliant wage so gonna get myself a remap (anyone got any idea of what kind of bph il get from it? Got a 8l s3 210bhp), windows tinted and one of badger5s TIP and Jetex inductions ;p
 
Will a bigger tip and Jetex air filter add anymore bph or just sound
 
I recently had my 210 mapped, the difference is Herculean. Transforms the motor.

What type of map are you planning? Generic or custom? Etc

There's a place by demon tweeks (wrexham where I live) that does revo but gonna look around for a custom rolling road map :)
 
What kind of power increase will the b5 tip and Jetex filter give me :)? Will it also make it sound different
 
Then buy new clutch,injectors,inter cooler..

Believe me once i start I don't stop lol..£££££££

Hope it's as quick as my work colleagues vxr Astra nurburgring edt.

There's another local tuner who lives near me called fat dubbers heard they do quite good custom maps (audi and vw specialist claimed to be)
 
where are you located?
choose your tuner carefully or your be getting to know them!!

Nah pretty sure the nurburging is a stage 2 vxr so what 280 ish? Well my mate has a stage 2 vxr and it's 277bhp and 333torque
 
Kin ell,they can't cope with 240 bhp lol

Jumping from a 210 to a 210 stage one is huge. Mine is stage one and my mates is standard and the difference is incredable.
 
Want it to match that one straight and il be happy because vxrs are pretty quick when tuned

Yeah stage one is nice feels sportier. Yeah you'll have fun with the vxr they can't get the power down as well as we can

I have a 210bhp s3 - completely standard and that made 250ish bhp and 275ft/lbs.

Crucially mine has a full service history and had no leaks whatsoever.

Coilpacks failed 3 weeks post remap.

Its more usable power when you need it don't expect your car to turn into a 300bhp monster!
 
B5 fitting is straight forward Infact there is a guide in the stickies. Removal is probably more of a pain than installation due the annoying clips vag use

The nurburgring astra is still only about 240bhp, the only differences from a standard Vxr are the wheels and the exhaust.
 
Yeah exhaust and remap is stage 2 for vxrs
 
Also had a letter from tax office today had a nice little rebate ;p so got a few extra hundred to spend haha
