NARDO GREY 8P S3 BUILD WITH BIG TURBO!

I'd recommend AEM,as in my previous post...

Easy to set up,reliable, and doesn't require mapping as Aquamist's system would if you wanted to get the most from it.

I think for what you've got in mind, keeping temps down is going to be very important, but you do need to watch what this lot does to the torque.
Hope the new V2 controller is as reliable as the older version

I'd put money on the guts being the same or very close with just a more user friendly case.

Love the colour and the car so far. Keep up the good work.

Saw this pop up on the Facebook pages the other day.

A bit marmite but I do like it and the plans look like it will be a proper animal.

Alex will keep you right in regards to tuning it. He's been there and done it so listen to what he says as he's talking out of experience.

I'm doing a similar build but i'm going Hybrid turbo instead of BT. Will be good to see your results.

Hopefully you can achieve what you want to achieve.

Mine should be up and running within the next 4 weeks so i'll let you know how my clutch gets on with the torque increase as i'm stage 1 loba/sachs organic..... got a feeling i'll be digging into my pocket for the stage 2 loba or something a little more bomb proof like alex's. Even though i've read and been told the loba/sachs combo can safely handle over 480 ft lbs... we'll wait and see.

The Sachs organic is rated to 400lbs,and perhaps it will do a bit more with and SMF,but I don't see why it should.

My Sachs made it to 440lbs,but it was treated pretty well, and never had drag starts, which will eventually shred an organic clutch.
Paddle clutches will take more abuse, but are rubbish around town, whereas that thing I have is a full face carbon metallic jobbie that is good around town,as well as on the track, and will handle up to 570lbs.

Love the car.. And the colour :applaus::hubbahubba:!!
Excited to see the results of your engine mods!
PS personally I love that Quattro badge lol

Sorry but...

I LOVE the look of your car! Nardo looks amazing, and as for the little touch on the rotors - gloss black blades and rim on satin black spokes - genius!
Not a fan of the Quattro badge but love the black Optik RS grille. Keen to upgrade to one on mine but can't decide on the finish/bezel combo.
Keep it up!

Thanks mate, yes it was between nardo and suzuka but nardo is more up to date and i think looks awsome, Yes haha i aint seen another set like mine when there clean they look amazing.. the cars going for a HQ photo shoot soon for a feature so ill keep you all posted :)

Big 500BHP on the dyno and that is set up 'tamely' running 28 BAR, Owens Development HTA30-71 Tail Housing.. Its not really to bad on the lag but once she boosts she boost, the pull in each gear is amazing, went out with my mate and his GTR last night his is 610BHP and he could only get away maximum from a rolling start a car length!!

Please chuck some rods and pistons in this, would hate for you to throw one. Lovely motor... stattler have done a good job.

Well done...good result.

I know how much you'll be enjoying it!

Did you say 2.8bar?

28psi it says on statllers fb page.

Thats more like it.

I know Owens wont recommend more than 2.3bar on the GTX3576 I'm about to buy.

Love the car and even the Quattro Nuff said :)

28 bar Jesus Christ what head gasket did you use a welded one lol!!!!

Great car and thread mate congrats

Looking at the torque figure of 380lbs,and having spoken to Steve on another issue myself,I don't think that should be an issue,as I think he knows what he's up to!

Mine was running 440lbs on stock internals, with a GT3071,before moving to a GTX3076 with more torque after that.
440lbs seems to be what most of us reckon is safe long term, and as this is safely below that, there shouldn't be any problems.

Seen this car a little while back on Facebook!

Nardo looks awesome on this man, nice work! Can't wait to see this thing doing some speed runs etc!
Btw I'm running circa 450ftlbs and the internals are fine, just incase you wanted to raise the torque a bit :p

Is that power on stock internals pal?

Haters gonna hate man...!!

Who cares what you do with YOUR car. It's lovely IMO...

I wish I could throw big dough at my engine.

My missus drives it into Central London everyday and comes home with enough stories of wasting other high power motors with male drivers...

As long as she's happy eh boys?!
