Just picked up my S3, and I'm beaming from ear to ear. Only put 60 miles on so far, but can't remember ever being so happy with a car. Obviously taking it easy for a 1000 miles or so, but it drives fantastic. Just the ****** weather is going to keep making it dirty. Anyway, it's tucked up in the garage now for its first night in its new home. Love it. Thanks to everyone on here for the advice, banter and tips.

10 days in and the car is fantastic. Is everything I expected and more. Only slightly annoying thing is start/stop, but I think it's a case of getting used to it and when to tactically turn it off etc. S3.......the car I always dreamed of (yes, I had a Capri once!!)

Lovely looking car mate... those seats....beautiful... enjoy!!!.

I miss my Corsa 1.2 Merit... its faded red paintwork that looked pink in almost every light, the brakes that didn't work, the exhaust with a hole in that made it sound like a Ferrari...all the little things..

nice car, I like the rims, got the stop/start issue fixed, my wife turns it off , before I even get a chance to think of it !

It used to be said that a car needed 10 miles or so to restore what was taken out of the battery to start it. I do wonder about stop/start in heavy traffic if it is restarting fairly regularly. I'm guessing things have changed so far as battery drain etc?
