DSG paddle stop working!

help please my up shift paddle on my steering wheel has stopped working. It has just stuck and refuses to work! My cars a s3 2011 1 year out of warranty.
Do you think its a new steering wheel or can the paddles be replaced and will it be covered under goodwill I have a full Audi service history

I could strip it & possibly fix when up there, paddles arent the cheapest & you have to get the correct size & versions, I'll reply to your email soon given its Xmas.

I had this issue a couple of times, after a few days it would start working again, its been several months since it last jammed so I can only assume nothing is broke, glitch in the matrix

Probably worth checking vcds, reset any codes and checking output test.

take it off, clean it and blow some compressed air in there and reinstall. happened to mine and all good now

I had this problem, apparently its a bit of plastic inside the wheel that can come loose and rattle about inside and get jammed under the paddles. Mine done it for a while, all I did was to turn the wheel so the stuck paddle is facing up and give it a few bangs. Hasn't done it since
