I have an Audi A4 B8 SE and just purchased these wheels, which I should collect this week.

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/261704487417?nav=SEARCH

What size tyres would I need so they don't rub?

The car is currently running standard suspension, but will probably get it lowered at some point.

Also, does anyone know which Dare wheels they are, the seller believes they are Dare x2 but I'm not sure!

Are you sure they are 66.56mm bore to suit the B8? Earler models were 57.1mm.

You might be lucky and they may have reducing rings in them.

As for the fit, there are websites which give you a section through the wheel showing new vs old wheels. Standard B8 SE wheels are 7.5J x 17; ET 45 225/50 R17. Audi 19" wheels are 8.5J x 19; ET 43 255/35 R19 so those Ebay wheels are not a mile out.

yes golf 57.1

B8 66.6

255 35 19 if there the right bore

Jamie if you have bought those exact wheels I would get a refund as they aren't going to fit your car buddy due to the centre bore being too small.

Oh no, yes I have bought them but not collected yet. Just msg the guy to ask him. I hope they do fit, if not will have to look again, unless anyone has some 19s for sale?

Told the guy what size I needed, he has come back and said they are 73.1. Does that sound genuine if he ordered them for a golf?

Yes it could be you will just need some spigot rings to fit to your car, either eBay or a good car shop will be able to get them for you.

Thanks everyone. It's not quattro no.

Does anyone know which wheels they are?

Would like to see pics once fitted! Have u lowered the car yet?

Its not lowered yet, but its on the list of things to do, along with S Line kit, S line interior, LED Drl's, FBSW, Remap.

Happy with the wheels and the cost in total. £380 for the wheels and then paid £200 for part worn 5-6mm Dunlop tyres matching all round.

The spigot rings have not arrived yet, so may have to take them off as they are causing a lot of shaking over 60mph. They should be here Tuesday.

Went for 255 all round, but wish I had got 225 on the front at the tyres look huge on the 8.5 fronts.

I am happy, what do people think?

Very nice!!! It'll look awesome when lowered, I'm on the same track as you, just about to fit Projectors to my lamps!

Wheels and lowering comes next!

Looks good to me, you got a good buy there, like the rear concave, but I've got to admit the tyres on the fronts do look a tad big, keep them on for winters to protect your wheels then get some 225 for summer.

Yes will probably do that. They probably wont last two long anyway, as the front wheel drive seems to burn through tyres. At least it will protect them from the Mrs hitting kerbs :)

Please dont say you are driving around without the wheels centred on the hub? All the load on the wheel bolts

Very nice mate.. I have a 1.8 tfsi as well.. Do you notice any hesitation when acclerating hard at around 5,000 rpm? Usually in 3rd & 4th? Nothing major just a slight dip and then it carries on normally? Thinking of getting my terracleaned.. although just spent 416.00 on wheel bearings :motz:

Not noticed to be honest, but then in haven't given it much yet. It seems to lack power in a lot of places, so eventually hope to get a remap
