hi all

Just bought myself an 07 plate s3 in sprint blue. Loving it so far, it has a stage 1 map and fairly shifts!

Where I live I really need winter tyres. I have bought wheel/tyre packages from mytyres before. you can get 16 x 6.5 (5 x 112 x 57, 50.00 offset) but I assume they won't fit over s3 brakes? Would 17s do it?

Any help would be appreciated thanks

17's should fit mate but it will be tight!

I have a set of Audi A4 wheels as winters on my S3. 17x7.5 ET 42. They are VERY tight on the front brakes but just fit. I don't think any old 17 would do it depending on the offset and design. Tyre size to get the same rolling radius as the normal 18s is 225/45/17.

I got winter tyres in 18" from My Tyres last year as my summers were gone. I then bought a second set of wheels and tyres in the spring when I wanted to go back to summer tyres
